Coda regresa a los escenarios y al parecer es para despedirse con una presentación que promete ser un histórica en la música mexicana, pero también una celebración del legado de una de las bandas más queridas del país.

En entrevista para La Magazine, Toño Ruíz, guitarrista y fundador de la banda, dio detalles de lo que será la despedida, que si bien no se sabe si es definitiva ―por eso de los reencuentros―, sí será considerada de tal forma.

«No tenemos la respuesta acerca de si es el último concierto, pero sí es la última etapa de la banda» comentó Toño al respecto del nombre del recital que presentarán, dejando en duda si es que en realidad se presentan por última ocasión como grupo.

«El setlist es bastantito larguito y con versiones nuevas, no tendremos invitados, porque nuestros invitados de honor son el público» dijo el músico.

«Queríamos tocar juntos la música que nos gustaba y eso nos movió, más allá de «Aún Te Amo», que es la canción más reconocida del grupo, somos muy metaleros y eso es lo que les vamos a tocar en el concierto» añadió el guitarrista.

La agrupación se encuentra ocupada haciendo los preparativos para esta noche tan especial, pues es un festejo brutal en el que Coda cierra un ciclo el próximo 18 de noviembre en el Metropólitan, los boletos ya están disponibles en Ticketmaster y se están agotando rápidamente.
